Who Can Join?
Women are eligible for membership in The Newswomen’s Club of New York if they work primarily as members of the editorial staff of a news organization and are based in the New York metropolitan area. Freelancers are eligible for membership if they can provide, twice annually, two current published examples of their work.
How To Join
Membership applications are considered once a month by the Newswomen’s Club board. If you would like to join, please fill in the application form below and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org, or download the form and send it to The Newswomen’s Club of New York, 15 Gramercy Park South, New York, NY 10003. Please include a current resume and links to or copies of two recent articles, videos, audio segments or other work. In the absence of clear authorship, please produce a letter from your executive editor or news editor attesting to the authorship.
Once admitted, annual membership dues are $75 for the calendar year and can be paid online. Click here to pay Membership Dues.
