Bio: Kathryn Cooper is a freelance event, commercial, and nonprofit photographer based in New York. Her career spans multiple genres: She's worked as lead event photographer for some of the world's largest publicized events, from the New Year's Eve Times Square Ball Drop to functions for Mastercard, Food Network, and the United Nations. A corporate event photographer, she has photographed conferences in Hawaii, private events on yachts in New York, and fundraisers in California. For work as a commercial photographer, her photos have appeared across print campaigns, social media strategies, and the web. As a nonprofit photographer, she's documented communities from Tibetan refugees in the Himalayas to young STEM researchers in NYC.
