Bio: Emma Rose Milligan (b.1993) is a commercial, editorial, and fine art photographer based in NYC. She received both her BFA with honors in Photo & Video (2015) and MFA in Photo, Video & Related Media (2018) from School of Visual Arts. Her editorial writing and visual commissions can be seen in Barron's, Bloomberg Businessweek, Bon Appétit, Feeo Ve Magazine, Newsday, The New York Times, NY Mag, USA Today, Vogue, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and more. She is a recent alum from the 2024 Eddie Adams Workshop XXXVII.
As an artist, her personal practice explores themes of youth culture, women empowerment, and understanding looking vs. being looked at. Her work has been exhibited in the US, and has been published internationally by Parisian based magazine, Courrier International, and the London based book publisher, Hoxton Mini Press. Her series Mirror, Mirror is an ADC 104 Bronze Cube Winner, AP 40 Chosen Series Winner, and has been featured by Worlds Through Minds and Float Magazine. Her work on the $12,000 Eye Color
