Lillian Rizzo - President
Lillian Rizzo
Lillian joined the Newswomen’s Club in 2016, served as the VP of Membership from 2017 through 2023, and is now president. Lillian has been a reporter at CNBC since August 2022, covering media, sports and other business news. She previously spent nearly nine years at the Wall Street Journal, covering various beats from private equity to bankruptcy to media. Lillian started covering bankruptcy at Debtwire, and prior to that had various stints at the New York Daily News. A lifelong New Yorker, she attended Baruch College and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. She grew up in Brooklyn and now lives on Staten Island.
Shanelle Kaul - Vice President of Community Engagement Programming
Shanelle Kaul
Shanelle Kaul was appointed programming chair in 2024, spearheading new, community building additions to the Newswomen's calendar that have attracted new members. She is a correspondent for CBS News, reporting to the CBS News Special Events and Newsgathering units. Prior to joining CBS News, Shanelle spent a decade reporting and anchoring across Canada -- most recently at CP24, Toronto's #1 Breaking News Channel. Born in Sri Lanka, Shanelle grew up in Toronto and is a graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Journalism. She returned to campus in 2021 to teach news production to second-year students. As a child of immigrant parents who fled war-torn countries, Shanelle is passionate about human rights and social justice issues. Natalie Duddridge - Deputy Vice President of Community Engagement Programming
Natalie Duddridge
Natalie Duddridge is an Emmy Award-winning journalist who joined WCBS New York in 2017. She covers a range of roles, from breaking news reporter to prime-time fill-in anchor, she also hosts CBSN, the local and national digital streaming platforms, and covers weather, traffic, health, politics, entertainment, and previously hosted CBS 2’s lifestyle real estate show "Living Large," exploring extravagant homes in the tri-state area. Before joining WCBS, Duddridge worked across Canada, including City News Toronto, CTV Ottawa, CTV Sudbury, and her hometown station, CTV Saskatoon. While pursuing her journalism degree at Ryerson University in Toronto, she interned at CTV Vancouver during the 2010 Olympics. Another pivotal internship at NY1 News in New York City later led to her return to the city as a full-time reporter and anchor. Duddridge has covered significant events such as Joe Biden’s presidency, Donald Trump’s presidency and trials, she worked tirelessly throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and has reported on 'Black Lives Matter' marches, 'Stop Asian Hate' rallies, the "Me Too" movement, Harvey Weinstein's trials, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and the Russia-Ukraine war. She earned an Emmy for team coverage of the 'Tunnel to Towers 5K Run and Walk' and has covered major events including the New York City Marathon and Times Square Ball Drop. She also flew with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels in an F/A-18 Super Hornet, pulling 7 G’s without a G-suit! Inspired by her parents' encouragement to "ask lots of questions" as a kid, Duddridge's passion for journalism is driven by her curiosity and love for storytelling.
She is the Deputy VP of Programming with the Newswomen’s Club of New York. Duddridge hosts and volunteers with several charities including the Walk to End Lupus, Lustgarten Pancreatic Walk, Queens Pride Parade, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, a cause close to her heart. Outside of work, Duddridge enjoys traveling with her partner Michaelangelo, her parents Renee and Allan, and many dear friends. She loves exploring new places, attending concerts, visiting galleries, practicing yoga, and walking her beloved rescue dog, Banksy (at least 20 thousand steps per day!) Her bucket list includes running the New York City Marathon and traveling to at least 100 countries. Her most recent adventures include helmet diving in Bermuda, dining on a crane 100 feet in the air in Athens, Greece, and ziplining in Whistler, BC. Duddridge is a proud Canadian- New Yorker. Luisa Beltran - Co-Vice President of Finance
Luisa Beltran joined the board as co-VP of finance in 2024 after helping to spearhead the fundraising committee for the Front Page Awards. She’s been an integral part of volunteering for the Front Page Awards in recent years. Luisa is an award winning reporter at Fortune, where she covers private equity, Wall Street and fintech M&A. She previously worked at Barron’s, PE Hub and MarketWatch.
Sasha Padbidri - Co-Vice President of Finance
Sasha Padbidri
Sasha joined the Newswomen’s Club of New York as a member in 2019 and was elected to the board in 2023. She is a deputy editor at 9fin, a B2B financial services publication, where she covers leveraged finance. Over the course of her career, she has reported extensively on “all things credit,” with a focus on distressed debt, structured finance, and the broader leveraged finance market. Prior to 9fin, Sasha held editorial roles at Reorg (now Octus), Thomson Reuters LPC (now LSEG LPC), and GlobalCapital. A native of Singapore, she has called New York home for over a decade and holds a B.A. from New York University.
Christina Santucci - Vice President of Special Events, Photo Auction
Christina Santucci
Christina is currently a national digital producer with Spectrum News and worked previously as the senior assignment editor for NY1. Prior to that, she worked as a photo editor for the New York Post, managing editor and photo editor for TimesLedger Newspapers and a photographer/reporter for the Queens Courier. She joined the Newswomen's Club board in 2023 as co-vice president of membership, and worked with her membership counterpart to institute a membership management platform. In 2020, Christina earned her master's degree in migration governance from the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College. For her thesis project, she assessed the potential future application of human rights treaties on climate-induced displacement. She is also an FAA-certified drone pilot. A native of the Bronx, Christina now resides in Queens.
Shubham Saharan - Vice President of Special Events, Front Page Awards
Shubham is a business and finance reporter based in New York City. She currently works as a senior reporter covering private credit, private equity, and distressed debt at 9fin. She has previously reported for the Financial Times, Bloomberg and ETF.com.
Kristen Tauer - Vice President of Membership
Kristen Tauer
Kristen is the deputy eye editor for Women’s Wear Daily, where she writes arts and culture features and covers philanthropic events and parties. Her writing has also appeared in publications including First We Feast, Edible Finger Lakes magazine, Edible Indy, Marie Claire, Teen Vogue and others. Her creative work has appeared in NYU’s Dovetail, WomenArts Quarterly, The New York Times and The Coachella Review. In 2016, she helped launch the independent food publication Counter Service. In August 2023, she was a writer in residence at Craigardan in the Adirondack Mountains. She’s originally from Ithaca, N.Y., and graduated from Cornell University. Kristen has served on the Newswomen's board since 2023.

Amber Ali is a seasoned media producer based in New York City, known for her impactful work in breaking news, field production and live event coverage. With experience at Bloomberg, CNN, CBS News, and more, she has covered everything from financial markets to presidential elections and global crises. Amber thrives in high-pressure environments, seamlessly blending editorial insight with field logistics to bring compelling stories to air. Passionate about storytelling that drives understanding and accountability, she leverages both traditional and digital media to inform and engage audiences.
Julianna D’Urzo - Co-Vice President of Content and Communications
Julianna D’Urzo
Julianna D’Urzo is a producer who has led multi-platform content for major networks including NewsNation, CNN, and Variety, as well as global brands like Pepsi and Sephora. At NewsNation, she leads digital strategy for special projects, editorial campaigns, and network-wide initiatives from political town halls to longform documentaries—executing external messaging to drive tune-in and audience engagement. A proud alumna of Syracuse University and Toronto Metropolitan University, Julianna is an active mentor in the media community and sits on the Syracuse University Generation Orange Leadership Council. Her additional involvement includes acting as an industry judge for the New York New's Women’s Club and, most recently, the 2025 Emmy Awards.
Amanda Glodwoski - Vice President of Professional Networking Programming
Amanda is an assistant managing editor at Crain’s New York Business, where she edits health care coverage and helps reporters across beats turn big, thorny ideas into sharp, data-driven stories. She also teaches data journalism at the CUNY J-School, where she's on a mission to show students that Excel can spark joy. A lifelong Brooklynite, she's always curious about how the city works, and who it’s working for. Her journalism has appeared in CNN, Gothamist, Quartz and ProPublica.
Natalie Newport - Deputy Vice President of Professional Networking Programming
Natalie Newport joined the board in 2025 as recording secretary. She has worked in digital news capacity since 2013. She’s worked for several news groups such as E.W. Scripps, Hearst and Spectrum News as a digital content producer and strategist for social media.
Jana Kasperkevic - Vice President of Technology
Jana Kasperkevic
Jana joined the board as recording secretary in 2025 and has already volunteered for the Front Page Awards and upcoming Photo Auction. She is a deputy director of owned platforms at NBC News. Her writing has appeared in The Guardian, Marketplace, Inc. Magazine, Houston Chronicle and The Village Voice, among others. In addition to reporting and editing, she is interested in exploring how people consume news.
